Restaurants that accept Bitcoin
Restaurants, pizzerias, burger places and takeaways where you can pay for your meal with Bitcoin, Lightning and other cryptocurrencies.
About this guide
Restaurants are among the most common Bitcoin merchants in the world. A meal is a small, frequent payment — exactly what the Lightning Network was built for — so many owners add a Bitcoin QR code next to the card terminal. This guide lists every restaurant on Coinmap that accepts Bitcoin, from street food stalls and pizzerias to sit-down restaurants.
Open a city to see the full list with addresses, opening hours and accepted payment methods, or open the map to find the closest Bitcoin restaurant to where you are now.
Coinmap currently lists 4,192 restaurants in 96 countries. 95% of them accept Lightning payments and 2,508 were confirmed by a visitor in the last 12 months. The countries with the most are United States (1,898), El Salvador (398), Brazil (230), Italy (150) and Thailand (104), and the cities with the most are San Salvador (38), Los Angeles (33), Houston (31), Lugano (30) and San Francisco (26).
Restaurants by city
Each city has its own page with the full list, addresses and a map. Cities with at least 5 restaurants are shown.
How to pay
Ask for the bill and say you want to pay with Bitcoin. The restaurant shows a Lightning invoice as a QR code; scan it with your wallet and the payment is confirmed in seconds. If you want to leave a tip, ask the staff to add it to the invoice before it is generated.
Because menus and staff change, payment options can change too. Listings marked as verified were confirmed by a visitor on the date shown; if the date is old, ask before you order.
